For Growing Minds.
Dreamt up in England and crafted with care in Indonesia, each toy is designed to inspire imagination, creativity, and joyful play. Made primarily from reclaimed rubberwood and finished with child-safe paints, Tender Leaf toys are crafted with care, made to last, and loved for a lifetime.
Our products are all dreamt up by our lovely designer Danielle, and then brought to life by our good friends at the factory, who are like family to us. Each part of the Tender Leaf cog is as important as the next, and we love working together to achieve our legacy.

We know they are fun to play with, but we have to be sure they are completely safe and durable. All our toys meet EN71, ASTM F963, and ISO safety standards.
Creating toys with longevity is what we do best. We work hard to maintain a strong brand identity and together we strive to be the best we can be.
Every year, we spend around two months working alongside our wonderful suppliers Mentari International in Indonesia, makers of all Tender Leaf Toys. Their family-run factory operates with high standards of training, wellbeing and respect and provides dependable employment for hundreds of local villagers. During our visits we work together, eat together and make gorgeous toys together.
We are deeply committed to protecting Indonesia’s natural resources and only work with reclaimed rubberwood, a by-product of the latex industry. In addition, for every reclaimed tree it uses, we plant a new one, driving ahead the cycle of regeneration. We have been awarded the ICTI Ethical Toy Program seal of approval for our ethical and sustainable supply chain. Every step of the production process from raw timber to the finished product happens under one roof, thereby increasing efficiency, minimizing waste, and decreasing their carbon footprint.
From raw wood to the finished product, every single stage of production happens in the same family-run factory. Once each toy has been hand-painted, assembled and checked, it is wrapped in paper and packaged in recycled cardboard.
We care a lot about being as sustainable to our lovely planet as we can be, and we are close to eliminating single-use plastic in all our packaging.
Our factory in Indonesia are deeply committed to protecting Indonesia’s natural resources and work with SVLK reclaimed rubber wood, a by-product of the latex industry.
Rubber trees, planted in plantations, are cut down after 25 years when they can no longer produce latex. By using wood from these trees, we minimize waste and
support sustainability.
For every reclaimed tree it uses, we plant a new one, driving ahead the cycle of regeneration. We have been awarded the ICTI Ethical Toy Program seal of approval for our ethical and sustainable supply chain.
SVLK certification primarily focuses on verifying the legal origin of timber. It ensures that the wood is harvested and processed in compliance with national laws and regulations. This certification helps combat illegal logging and supports the efforts of governments to enforce forestry regulations.

SVLK certification often applies to wood sourced from plantations, which are specifically established for commercial purposes. Plantations involve the cultivation of trees in designated areas, ensuring a sustainable supply of wood products. The certification encourages the responsible management and utilization of plantation resources.

SVLK promotes a robust system for tracking wood products throughout the supply chain. This ensures transparency and allows buyers to verify the origin and legality of the wood they purchase. Traceability reduces the risk of illegal timber entering the market and promotes accountability in the forestry sector.
